So once again....No new pictures....Sorry Loree. Oh and everyone else. I have a ton to add. But the Computer I am on the USB port is not working. And yes this is a different Computer than last time. I just keep picking the ones that don磘 work. So Sorry. I can磘 believe this week is already past. It磗 seems like yesterday I was writing my last post!

Thats so scary how fast time flys by!!! I don磘 have enough time to do everything I want to do. My area is becoming reorganized. We live to far away from the chapel. And no one wants to take the one ruta to get to church. They would rather go to the catholic church that there neighbor has in his house. Typical no?

Theres this song that says 创You don磘 have to walk the plains! to be a pioneer创 It磗 true. I am positive that by the end of my two years I will have walked more than the p靜neers did. We have walked so much lately. Walking kilometers sometimes to get to our next appointment. So much walking. and the sun is so relentless. But I love it so much!!!!!!

So my next week, My blog will probably be just photos.... Because they take a long time to send. Unless something spectacular happens. Ok I might. It kinda depends on how I feel. You know the drill. Speaking of photos. The mission leader told us Elders to take photos of the families in the ward. Because we have an activity this weekend mabout families. It was a lot of fun. I 创forced创 smiles out of everyone. By counting one two cheese or apple bannana 3 or stuff like that. It was a lot of fun to do that. I am hoping the activity will be successfull. We put some time getting to the members houses. Really I am just excited about the refreshments afterwards. I hoping Ice cream. Last time it was really really good ice cream. And we don磘 have cheap icecream here. Ok they do but it is CHEAP. You can actually get a liter of Ice Cream from a place called BON. For only 105 pesos. So 3 dollars one liter of ice cream, I磘 expensive but well worth it on occasion.

I have now implimented starting soon my Old rule when it comes to ID磗 like my plaque. To always have 2 or three. One in a backp郼k one in somewhere else. And one you usually use. Because when you forget the main one. you have a backup always. So Yeah I have forgotten my plaque three times.....So bad!!!! But Yeah. Done. Did it. finished. I will soon have three plaques.

We have not been liked by dogs this past week. We have been chased or come up upon by three digs this past week. I was really close to having to kick one of them. Really hard in the rib cage. He got extremely to close to us. But the owner called him back. Anyway. We have 2 really awesome investigators. One an American, It磗 really weird teaching in English. But I enjoy it cause I can actually help!! Then the other one he has changed his life quite a bit. So thats really exctiting. His baptism is the week right after transfers. So We are really excited for that. He will be a good and srong member. Just what we need here.

I am simply loving it here!!!! This is the best time of my life ever!!! Thanks for tuning in on another week of Whats going on in the DR. CAIO!!!!!

Hey Familia Y Amigos que está leyando este adicíon a mí blog. I hope everything is going awesome wherever you may be. Once again I was going to add pictures....But My comp I am using doesn´t like my camera. So Sorry Loree. You get to just read the adventures. But the pics were only of Yaroa and Us eating it. It´s fantastic.

So anyway. This week was a really good week. It´s a good thing I am trying to develop patience on this mission. These people are not good at saving material...We helped make this floor for an investigator in the Zone Leaders area. They throw all the material on the gorund in piles and then mix it up on the ground. I personally thought it would have beenbetter to have done it in the wheel barrow. Especially cause the mix was more sand than cement. Our mix was a brownish gray. But. Thats how they do it here I guess. So It was very interesting to me. I also used my floating skills on the floor with a woodfloat  I prefer the green float for the wall then the woodfloat for the cement floor.

Also this week we were studying in the morning and the JWs knocked on our door. So we decided to open it up and talk to them. There aproach was so weird. Like the third word after the introductions was a scripture and they kinda twisted it. and It´s just strange. Later that same night. All four of us in the house we found Scriptures that just destroys the >Catholic and the JW´s churchs. They just prove them false. It´s not something we used. because that brings contention. But. It was fun.

Our investigator Carlosa is still doing awesome. We now have another awesome investigator. Her name is Mary Liz. She normally lives in the US in conneticut in Waterberry. Which is my Comps hometowns neighbor. Anyway she lives here with her MOm who is Dominican. We had knocked on her door to find someone else a reference that we had. And she came out. And you could tell she was American from the way she walked butshe can speak both. We told her what we were doing and asked if she knew the person we were searching for she said she didn´t know the person. But like everyone we invited her and her mom to church.  and left thinkinh that was the last time we would see her. But on Sunday she showed up with a family we know. A member family of course. and we set an appointment to come back and teach. We told her to pray about our message and she did. We went and taught her. She told us she loved church.and asked her if she would follow Christs example and be baptized she said she would. She also really wants her mom to come to church next week. So lets hope she does it.

Anyway. It´s flippin awesome!!!!! I love the mission. It´s awesome!!!! This morning we played a Zone versus Zone Baseball game. It was a lot of fun. Anywho Love ya all!!!!!

14 April 2010 - Part 9

So Once again...I am outta time!!!! But I did Put in quite a few pics!!!! Enjoy!!!! But One awesome thing that is happening right now is we have a GOLDEN Investigator even better he is a Golden Contact, It´s awesome!!!! We have a baptism date set for the 8th of May. He has come to church has done everything we have asked him to and more. He is awesome!!!! The days that we teach him are the best. the rest of the day could be horrible but because of our lesson with him it rocked!!!! He is the reason why I am here as a missionary for people like him. I have discovered probabply my favorite food here. It´s called Yaroa. It´s Shredded chicken and beef on the bottom. a layer nof cheese on that and then frys covered in ketchup and mayonaisse and covered by another layer of Cheese. AH!!!! SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It´sdeliciouss. I was going to take pics of it but the other Elders who had the keys took to long so we ate it before we got inside it was sooo good!!!! Also this past week...We cleaned a river.  Thats the last picture. We did this part of the ´´river´´ twice. These people have no repect for there own land. It´s really sad. This place would be so much better if they didnt just throw there trash anywhere. Anyway. A pick axe is needed. Because the trash has piled up for so long, as you grab trash it unearths more. It´s sad to see.  We also had an Awesome baptism. The pics you see of that. Yeah the Guy is 19 and turning in his papers soon he is Lilianna´s uncle. She has a fear of going backwards. They had to do the baptism 8 times before she had finally been completly immeresed. It´s a good thing that the Confirmation only takes one time.

I got this awesome package from my parents on Sunday. It was awesome!! The peeps were gone in seconds. Ok a few hours I ate the first half right asfter church and the otherhalf after we finished. I did give one to my companion. He needed one. Anyway. Thats all I have time for!!!! Love you all!!!
Miss you all!!!!! Glad to hear everything is kinda moving forward. Hopefully everything works out. You are ion my p`rayers and thank you for yours.
